Farmer Spotlight: BeeWench Farm

In sunny California, a family owned and operated farm run by a single mom and her 12 year old son works towards balanced growing practices that benefit and respect the earth while providing local vegetables, fruit, eggs, goat’s milk, chicken and honey. Meet BeeWench Farm. It all started with only two 8ft by 8ft garden beds and a handful of chickens, but the farming bug took hold and what started as a garden expanded into the self-sufficient farm of their dreams.

Fun fact: BeeWench Farm has the only Certified Naturally Grown CSA on California’s central coast! CNG certified farms don’t use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or GMOs and require annual on-farm inspections.

Where in the world are they? Shandon, California, USA

What in the world do they grow? Vegetables, fruit, eggs, goat’s milk, chicken and honey.
